Chapter 18 - Mord Fiddle’s Death.

Chapter 19 - Gunnar, Unna’s Kinsman, is introduced into the saga.

Chapter 20 - Njal and his family at Bergthorsknoll enter the Saga.

Chapter 21 - Unna goes to see Gunar as she has no money.

Chapter 22 - Njal gives his advice to Hrut.

Chapter 23 - Hedinn the Skald comes to Hrutstead.

Chapter 13 - Glum and his brothers set out to find Glum a wife. He sets his eyes to Hallgerda.

Chapter 14 - Hallgerda and Glum are married.

Chapter 15 - Thiostolf overstays his welcome at Hauskuld’s and heads for Glum’s home at Varmalek.

Chapter 16 - A dispute between Thiostolf and Glum causes even more trouble between Glum and Hallgerda.

Chapter 17 - Glum is killed by Thiostolf. Both Thiostolf and Hallgerda are well pleased by this event.

Chapter 8 - Hrut returns home to find Unna has divorced him. He waits until the Thing to discuss the matter with Mord.

Chapter 9 - Thorwald makes a deal for Hallgerda’s hand in marriage.

Chapter 10 - Hallgerda tells her father that she is unhappy with the match.

Chapter 11 - Soon after the wedding Thorwald is killed by Thiostolf.

Chapter 12 - Thiostolf flees north to Bearfirth with Hallgerda’s aide.

Chapter 123 - The settlement is set at 600 ounces of silver to be paid at the Althing. The settlement is nulled when Flosi and Skarp-Hedin argue.
